I was in an office where internet access was a new thing...
Colleague comes running in (one of the folk who was first to spend time surfing rather than working...) to tell us a plane had accidently hit one of the towers, I got a proper bad mouthing for suggesting it could not have been an accident... then he came running in to tell us about the 2nd plane / tower...

Arguably the biggest terrorist nation in the world had its nose well bloodied.
Since the event I have read a lot about the USA's foreign policy, neo-conservatives, peak oil, etc.
All very eye opening stuff.

Just watched it. One of the most disturbing but compelling programs I have ever seen.
Ah, so we're into the annual Channel 4 rehashes old 9/11 documentary season already...
