Hello all,

I have juggled a few shifts and have managed to end up with 10 days off in July....

What to do...

Criteria = cheap.

Was thinking of cycling the Sarn Helen
Or walking the coast to coast/ or Offas Dyke.

Any other ideas?

I did a fabulous 10-day 500 mile tour at Easter (cycling) of Scottish Western Islands and Highlands. Got there by train (from Nottingham). Return train was under £100. Stayed in hostels (mostly £16/pn) and bought my food from Co-op. As you're going in July you could camp/bivvy and it would cost you just the train.
IMO if you're outdoors and doing some sort of tour you can't go wrong 🙂

Go back to Brecon. Had an amazing holiday there, fab campsite and good weather. Its easy to get to lots of good riding places including the one you were on about and Afan, Brecfa, Cwmcarn. So loads to do. I had such a great time I didn't want to come home. Also the canal was next to the campsite so if you like kayaking to its even better. Friendly pub across the road. 😀
