Me likey the red.

Being on the light-gnar-core side of things, I would like Deviate to make a nice light 120/130mm bikes as well. Purlees.

Photo spot look familiar - Kinnoul hill?

I have one. I like it very much.

Definitely a bigger and burlier bike than the Highlander but it really does climb well.

The Green colour is hard to photograph. Really pops in the sun though.

Probably the only plastic bike that’d tempt me away from my Megatower. Sure the colours are lovely but I wish the did it in black.

Buy a frame off JMJ designs and he’ll paint it any colour you want for £250ish iirc, warranty unaffected

If I needed a bike with this much travel it would be at the top of the short list.

Thanks. That was the look I was going for.

Claymore in the sun

All the parts were transferred from my black Highlander so I just had to hope it worked on the green frame.

In all seriousness though it’s a seriously impressive bike. Feels bottomless descending but as the review notes, still very agile and playful on the trail. It doesn’t feel as big as it is.

The high pivot is not all hype.

I'm also switching up my Highlander for a Claymore...Have one on order from JmJ, paint work yet to be decided.

Can't wait.

I was think more Goldmember.

Nice bike, green and gold play nicely in moderation, but there's far too much bling for me.

I only rode the Claymore once (twice maybe?). And only had the Hope for a week or two.

But, you're asking, so I'm answering: HB.916.

FWIW!

Claymore! Opposite to Benji, I only got to ride the HB916 a couple of times. I just didn't get enough time on it to get things set up properly and felt that the suspension needed a bit more tweaking. Having ridden both the shock and fork that were on it on other bikes, I'd set them up as I had in the past but just didn't feel as good a the Claymore, but I ran out of time to tweak. I got to spend a good few weeks on the Claymore though and was properly impressed.
