Been running a 150mm 29er solo RCT3 Pike for a couple of years, only changing the dust seals. I think it's starting to feel a bit harsh now. What would you recommend to get its performance to optimum without spending a fortune?

I'm thinking damper bleed for starters. Plus new damper oil? Anything else?

Just service it with a service kit. Damper bleed is a little bit trickier to get right but get the right tools and fluids, take it slow follow the manual and you'll be good. Probably £50 for the full seal kit syringe for damper and oils.

Have you ever done the semi bath oil?

If not, it might be too late now.

£40 for the full service kit, plus £20 or so for a damper bleed kit. Think I'll just get a decent service shop to do a 200-hour full service for £90.
