I have a zee fr rear mech with a knackered lower cage. I have a Deore XT rear mech (10 speed but not clutch).
Can I fit the lower cage from the XT mech to the zee body to create a hybrid zee clutch mech with a long cage?
I just want to know before I spend £20 on a replacement lower cage and then put the XT rear mech in the spares box.

Looking at the tech docs, the non-clutch XT cage is different to the clutch version. I know you can interchange cages between clutch mechs but I reckon your non-clutch cage won't fit your Zee mech.
