My mate has had all sorts of bother with his E13 freehub, finally got fed up and sent it back to YT (it was only 4 months old).
YT have had it for 9 weeks, and are ignoring his emails now. Before a bit of moan-bombing on their facebook page, anyone else had any joy with any other approach?.
Possibly inundated, i only know 2 people with Capra's and they have both had problems with the e13's. Don't think it is a difficult issue to resolve though
I also know 2 people with Capra's - one has had endless problems, the other swapped them straight away, as he knew they were crap
Don't have a YT but was stupid enough to pay full price for a pair of their wheels aftermarket. Utter crap, not fit for purpose. E13 should redesign it from scratch and give everyone with the existing hub a free replacement. Not like they're cheap either. First time mine failed Silverfish rebuilt it and I got a patronising note telling me not to overtighten the bearings. When it failed again shortly afterwards I got sent a gen 2 axle but that didn't change anything. Then I destroyed the rear rim by which time the bearings were shot again anyway and I gave up on them and got some hopes on Lb carbons. The E13s were an expensive mistake
E13 hubs - notoriously shite. I always thought it was a strange spec choice on those YTs since everything else is pretty good. Perhaps they got them cheap and decided to take a warranty gamble on them. Might explain the silence from YT.
