I like no. 17. Dry weather riding only or it might get messy, but might be nice to snack on freshly grown salad while stopped at traffic lights.

On a serious note, I might go for that handlebar wall bike rack ..

The cable tie trick works on bikes with disc brakes, I'd bet that they've copied it without engaging brains

Does it? What exactly does it do that the blocks of tread don't? It's copied from use on road tyres on cars which don't have tread blocks to grip the snow - normal MTB tyres work fine on snow (as long as they don't sink in, which is the normal problem, zip ties won't help with that).

They copied the idea and went back in time to try it out on a 90s Specialized. Clever stuff.
