I am considering changing my wheelset and I am just looking at the Mavic Crossmax ST, so I was wondering whether anyone here uses them and if so what do you think of them? Some good feedback - i.e. flex, strength, responsiveness etc. - would be good to know. Thanks.

Its these...

I wouldn't touch Mavic wheelsets ever again. If you break a spoke/rim/hub, parts can either be impossible to find or waaay over priced. Mavic are no help in sorting you out either.
No matter have much marketing BS you swallow, you won't ever better a decent set of hand built wheels.

Interesting? I've had Mavic in the past, but had no issues - so I suppose I haven't had your experience.

So what would be your combination of build then? Hub, Rim & Spokes?

I've got '06 Crossmaxs and have had no problems at all. Dinged one in crash a while back and LBS sorted out trueing it and replacing spokes, no problem. Shop bloke said they can get any spares direct from Mavic if I need anything. Highly recommended.

Got them on here - 09's been under someones bed for a year waiting for a build that never happened.
Had several pairs of Crossmax - spares no problem either.
