XTR M985 Double Chainset – BCD for chainrings/bashguards? – Bike Forum

I've just come by one of these with 44/30t chainrings which aren't really suitable for the stuff I ride.

Does anyone know of any manufacturer that makes aftermarket chainrings/bashes for these as i've a feeling the BCD is different to the 104mm of the other shimano offerings.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

HomeBrewed Components, he does nice rings and bashes but it'll take several months to come from the States

I can't recommend Homebrewed, I've been waiting since november (2011) for some rings. I have tried to email him several times, but finally made contact thru his FB profile last week. Since then nothing.

Sadly not many others to choose from. Anyway on the M985 you can only go down as far as 28/40 so just replace with standard shimano.
