Have a problem removing the left arm of my m970 xtr cranks ;-/
Is there a tool to turn the tool that goes into the left crank to remove it? Because I'm at the point where I can't move the tool to remove the crank and can't turn it to take the tool off....
any advice would be a great help 😉 or if shimano had a tool to help this issue?
this is the tool stuck in and no obvious way to turn it with force.....

The tool you have pictured will only screw in so far (be aware its a left hand thread and doesnt remove the cranks). Once its in position you then unscrew the 8mm crank bolt out which comes into contact with the removal tool and pulls the arm off the splines.
