After nearly 14 years loyal service my 2 x 10 shifters are starting to feel there age getting a bit notchy .Ones with the clamps not I Spec .
Loads of 2nd hand ones for sale on Evil Bay but unknown condition, anywhere that might have them lurking in a drawer gathering dust for a good price?
Absolutely no hurry ATM they are soldering on like the troopers they are , guess I could lower my expectations and go for Deore 🤔

Have you tried spraying GT85 in the cable hole & lubricating the cables ?
Yeah made them a bit better, I guess I could change the cables inner and outer , as I say they aren't too bad ATM just looking at what's available
I love my xt m780’s, mine are of similar age to yours and just keep working flawlessly, my favourite shifters without a doubt. Can’t help with where to get replacements though, good luck with your search.

These folk claim to have right hand ones, although it's not a shop I've heard of before. I could probably do with a set too as my 3x10 SLX shifters are starting to play up (are the left hand M780 shifters 2/3 switchable?).
I'll have a look through my excess of spares when I get a chance, but almost certain I've got a spare XT 10spd shifter or two somewhere...

Done a bit of ad hoc work for them of late, good guys, know their stuff. Jamie the owner is very active on a lot of facebook groups and he's THE go to guy for retrobike stuff...
