any issues with the above setup? getting 180mm floating hope rotors currently have 180mm floating (2piece) shimano rotors, is there any reason these should not all fit together ok??

pro 2 hubs wont cause an issue with xt caliper and the same size floating hope rotor as my current one?

I'm running Saint calipers with 180mm hope floating rotors and proII hubs and have no issues.

You might need to file the inside of the brake adaptor if it catches on the rotor rivets but its no biggie

I have exact same setup! I got 183mm I think with 183 adaptors... so provided you make sure you have the right adaptors you'll be a-ok!

Yep make sure you get teh correct adaptors the Hope Saw Tooth rotors won't run with the 180mm adaptors on the XT brakes you need the 183mm adaptors as xc-steve says

sorry i think im getting confused bud....

i currently run 180mm shimano rotor with 180mm shimano bracket....

i am getting 180mm hope floating rotor (as they do both 180mm & 183mm saw tooth floating) so i should be ok with my current 180mm shimano adaptor as its the exact same size???

pleaseeeeeeeeeee confirm guys ๐Ÿ™‚

If the rotors are 180mm and you have 180mm adaptors you should be ok, I bulive I have 183mm rotors so had to get 183mm adaptors (although might be wrong).

Either way go ahead with your purchase, the hubs won't make any difference to fitting. The 180mm rotors and 180mm adaptor should be good, if not then you can purchase 183mm adaptor later they're not that expensive (compared to the rotors and hubs).

thats brill steve cheers for the help, ive dropped hope a quick email to see if they can confirm.....though i should imagine if im sticking with 180mm all round it should be fine......

thanks again steve! appreciated!

you dont have clearance issues with the pads? ie, the rotors too thick to go inbetween the pads on brand new pads etc?

I've not had any issues with clearance, they should auto a just out if its too tight unless there's too much fluid in the system but that's quite rare!
