Made an impulse buy off ebay and got a set of XT M765 brakes (post mount), I don't think they will be with me for a few days yet and now I'm concerned whether the rear caliper will fit on my frame. I have a Slot Dropout Inbred in Singlespeed mode. Was planning on using a 160mm rotor.
Anyone got any experience with this setup?
i have the latest xt brakes and they work with the correct adaptor.
You'll need a 160mm rear IS mount if rear is currently post mount (i.e supplied with no adaptor).

Yeah, I've got a IS to PM adaptor but I was concerned that the caliper may not fit in the gap properly since the disc tabs are positioned on the chainstay on the slot dropout model and there are incompatability issues with some brakes (like Avid BB7s)
I had an Inbred before my Cotic Simple and run XT brakes, still got the brakes on the Simple, with no problems at all.
It is the mechanical cable exist on the caliper that stops the BB7's being used.
No problems at all with XT.
