Wonder if anyone can help me here! Am running a M8000 XT 11 speed rear mech but whenever I engaged the clutch, it will not hop up onto the 42 tooth cog. Shifts absolutely fine without the clutch engaged.
So what am I doing wrong or do I need to adjust!? Thanks!

B screw if it's too close?

but would the b screw only prevent it shifting when the clutch is engaged?

I run the same mech , not had this problem but in addition to the above replies you could also check the clutch friction. You need a torque wrench a T30 bit (I think)

My 11 speed acts the eejit when the B limit isn’t spot on so that would be my first port of call.
