Can't seem to get a straight answer on this. Read a page on Hopes site but its not making sense at this time of night.
Can I fit an 11 speed xt cassette on a hope pro 2?

Yes, if the freehub looks like below it will work with any Shimano MTB cassette from 8 to 11 speed:

Yes but the two high gears really chews the bejesus out of the alloy I switched to a steel freehub. It didnt take long to destroy the ally one at all.
