On the last pair of shifter I bought (a good few years ago), the bar attachment was movable via a couple of allen-key screws.
These new ones do not appear to have that adjustment. & they do not line up with my Hope brake levers very nicely.
Is there a widget I can buy to improve this ?
Alternatively I am being daft & have missed something.
Looking at the SLX version, it still has that adjustment.
Aye, the new XTs (780s) are a pain especially with Hope levers as there's no adjustment, I run them myself.
The SLXs look like the old adjustable 770 XTs, in terms of ergonomics they would be the better option.
I think Hope where working on new matchmakers to mate the 780s with their levers, wouldn't hold your breath though.
Wish I'd known. I would have got the SLXs instead.

Same here.
Get the ispec covers and the hope mounts. I was going to do that until I found an m770-10 on eBay.
