Knee pads. They come out every ride, no matter what sort of riding.

Mleh no uphill sections.

Seriously though if you like that you would like XC racing. With the exception of the play area and the cheeky canal path it's like any XC race course.

Where is that BTW?

Just stick the knee pads on and leave them. ๐Ÿ˜€

Screw being overbiked. It's my DH bike aswell. ๐Ÿ˜†

I like my racing, but Gravity Enduros instead. The descents are far more fun than the uphills. This is in the West Midlands on my local trails- Kinver, Baggeridge and Fens Pools.

Riding wasn't too shabby either.
XC is still rubbish though ๐Ÿ˜‰

Very good....Wouldn't take that bike (or even the camera) over fens pool though....if you hadn't been so fast it would have been nicked....I once had a traveler (think that's the pc term) with a wheel barrow offer to fight me for my bike....not sure what I'd have got if i'd have won!?

I don't like hanging around the Fens, I must admit. It's more than a bit dodgy, but it is in the heart of the [s]wonderous place[/s] shite hole, Pensnett.

I liked that, definite sense of fun. Guess that was the point, so mission accomplished. Nice drifty cornering skills, too.

That's nice. Like the gap jumps, I have a bit of a mental block on those at the moment although my drops are rapidly improving.

Well put together video and nice riding skillz. Looks more DH-lite than xc to me though. (Feet out in the corners and manuals all over the shop.) ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜ˆ
Recognise most of those locations. I live not far from Dudley.

Really enjoyed that, I've been off the mountain bike for a few years (it got nicked and we had 3 kids). Just getting back to it now and watching that has made me realise how much I've missed it!!

Well done, good video.

Nice video dude,

Recently had a go myself at making a little video, similar deal, 2 afternoons of filmimg and an evening editing.

Actually found it put a fun twist on riding my local trails.

This is my effort

Thanks,

Also realised how slow and small stuff looks on home made videos, gave me an extra appreciation of the guys you see flying down stuff and going big in the proper movies. They must really be shifting!!

This has really surpassed my expectations with how well this has gone down. Thanks for the knid comments, guys.

My take on the whole DH-lite/XC thing is that if you're happy to ride it in an open face and you can fit it into an XC ride then it's XC, just a bit more wild. ๐Ÿ˜€

A fair bit of time involved in doing that, but it was worth it fella - top job.

If i'm being slightly fussy, i thought you over egged the slo-mo jumps at the end, but other than that it was quality. I'm now gonna watch it again ๐Ÿ˜€
