Currently have a X-Fusion manic post that is refusing to drop & think it's seized. It's happened before, but first I assumed it was the cable so changed that and then I also removed the collar and cleaned the seals. But now it appears the pin at the bottom of the cartridge isn't budging at all?

Anyone have any ideas on how to get it unstuck? Or am I looking at a replacement cartridge?

Thanks,
Alex

No advice on how to fix this issue, sorry. But if you do require a new cartridge they don't seem available unfortunately. I couldn't find one, and got no reply when I emailed X fusion about it either. Not too impressed given that one of their selling points when I bought was supposedly a user replaceable cartridge.

I had the same problem with mine, sprayed the rocker mechanism the cable attaches to with gt85 and managed to free it up. Needed to slide a screwdriver into the space where the grub screw goes to get it to move. Once it was moving again lubed it and it's been working fine since then. Hope this helps.

mine got stuck, so had a look and the cartridge was leaking goo.

Filled in the warranty form on the Upgrade Bikes website, sent it off, it came back a week later with a new cartridge and works as good as new.

Just sent mine to upgrade for a service and cartridge replacement. £35 Inc delivery back. That's a bargain, so I don't mind not being able to source a cartridge

Question : I need a replacement cartridge for a X-fusion Manic Dropper post. Do you supply them?
Hi Ron
Hi Tom
Let me check if they are available
Thank you
They are not available to purchase aftermarket Ron, it will need to come back to us for a service and replacement
These are marketed by X-fusion as easily serviceable by the customer by simply replacing the cartridge. Why are they not available?
The service agreement we have with Xfusion is that they are not available to purchase aftermarket
How much is it to replace the cartridge?
A full service is £30 and a new cartridge is £30
Thank you. So £60? And how do I arrange this?
https://www.upgradebikes.co.uk/Catalogue/FORMS/X-Fusion-Service-2
there is an online service form on this link
Thank you. I would appreciate it if you could feed back to X-fusion that I and a lot of other X-fusion dropper post users are extremely unhppy that we cannot do our own servicing?
I most certainly will Ron, please let us know if we can help with anything else and have a good day

Well I hope mine has a new cartridge, out a at least they have fixed it. It was sinking and rising without being connected to cable... Thought it was bloody cheap!
