Took delivery of a pompino a week or two back, but was preoccupied with my Dialled alpine build in the mean time.
Just tonight, as the frame still sits on the kitchen table since I unboxed it, I noticed something strange.

The other end of frame fit pump's are concave and press against the seat tube.
zefal frame fit pump - probably a long for that frame
one ends curved to sit against the frame that end is to go in the hole on the other end !
mrs julian has identified it as a 'nubbin' for a frame pump. I am hugely impressed with her.
Most modern road pumps have a concave end that fits around seat tube and the other end fits on the peg. You just need to make sure you get the right length road pump and the spring tension normally in the handle keeps it in place.
