Ok, so I'm looking to tune the fox float dps shock on my full bouncer as it blows through it's travel a little too easily. Was shocked to find that the spacer kit is £40 for what is effectively a few plastic discs. Anybody else think that some component pricing really does take the p*** ?
Vote with your wallet....don't buy them.
I'm not !!
Do you mean these at £2.78 each?
Ignore that, I see it's for shocks...... £38.66 😯 why the difference in price?
yes they are a rip off..
I managed to find the dims online of them and machined some out of Delrin..
@somafunk - no, I believe they are the reducers for the forks. If anything they are under priced. It's these that I'm looking to get
Goldigger, fancy selling a few?
Haha, I think I understand why they are sold with a sachet of lube 🙂
They are dear but they work really well and make a hell of a difference. Rather use them then great blobs of grease.
I bought two packs off ebay where the sellers had used the small and medium respectively, figured out I needed the medium. Took one of the large ones and cut it down to the size of the medium then sold the remaining three for £10 more than I paid for the lot. Take out Ebay fees etc and I got a spacer for free 😀
