Some people will tell you that they are good quality steel frames that ride way better than the price tag would suggest.

Some people will tell you that they're made from old gas pipes and the only reason anybody would ride one is so they can be pretend internet friends with the designer, who hangs around on this site.

As an ownership proposition its less about whether you want a cheap and reasonably well designed bicycle frame and more about whether you

a) think it will make you part of a cool internet gang of bike nerds
b) think it will make you so totally not cool. In fact you'd be better off with something 3 times the price so you can tell yourself you're special. Beside which, you disagree with the way the cables are routed and think the head angle is 0.234 degrees too slack.
c) are so cool that you will ride whatever you want

Given that I have more expensive bikes and that my Inbred is my commute monkey I pretend to like it less than I do.

Excellent value, good handling bikes though not particularly light. Not one for the brand-tarts. I've had three. All have been very good

With Clubber here, really good bikes i just bought my second one and a carbon fork to build up for next summer, retiring my older one to comuting and touring duties.

it's a bike frame, made from steel, it's pretty compliant, it not particularly light, but its cheap, they take 80-120mm forks, & the front ends pretty low... what more do you need to know?

I use it for riding with my g/f or particulary muddy winter rides & lend it to m8's who want to try out mtb-ing. I quite fancy trying a Scandel though & wouldn't sell either of my full sussers to keep it:

As above great value if I was to buy a steel bike again (hopefully I won't as I'm sick of them) I'd get an Inbred as I don't see the point of paying for fancy names / welds/ 853 stickers anymore, the Inbred does the job that all the posh steel frames do at a fraction of the price.

They are however not particularly light, if that's what you want than get an on-one scandal, they weigh chuff all and have the same geo as the standard Inbred.

inbred is an ace bike. loved mine. would have one again in an instant if i had room in the garage - replaced it with a scandal 29er...

If you was to move fast they have 2 cosmetic damaged 456 frames for £100, pretty hard to argue with that...
