My trusty Schwalbe Landcruisers are almost ready for the tip and not hearing great things about the 2016 redesigned versions I'm looking for alternatives.
I have a planet X London road that gets used for all sorts. 15 mile each way commutes into London, weekend touring rides and 30 - 40 mile mixed surface rides (albeit none of those as often as I'd like due to work commitments and a young family).
I was thinking of some wtb nanos in 700c x 40 flavour, has anyone managed to fit these to a London Road and if you did, do you reckon mudguards would fit as well?
Yes they fit nicely without guards but 45 mudguards will fit too. A bit of a tight fit so mud would clog fairly easily.
I avoid wet mud though so I now use 35mm (37 actual) Vittoria Hypers which work perfectly under those guards.
Cool cheers, I'll have to see what size my guards are.
I did think I'd take the guards off when the weather improved but last year I didn't bother and I doubt I will this year so something that works with them would be great
