I have wtb frequency i23 rims in 26inch, I looking to build some 650b wheels and like the rims so want to use them again, what difference does the extra inner width 23mm to 25mm make? (I will be using 2.3 tyres) I can only get i23's in 650b just now there is a bit of wait for i25's. Would they be worth waiting for?

Have got 23s and 25s as you'd expect the difference is minimal but whereas a 2.25 Ardent for example looks slightly over inflated on the 25 it sits perfectly on the 23. Similarly a gravity animal such as a 2.4 Big Betty or 2.5 Minion overwhelms the 23 but looks comfortable on the 25
With 2.3 tyres you should be golden with the 23s and they're just that little bit lighter as well
