You know the drill.

Ride your bike.

Take some photos.

Post them up with a few words.

Solo spin round this morning with temperatures just above freezing then warming a little later.

I know that's a long bike Stu, but it appears to have been stretched on its journey through cyberspace 😀

I've pointlessly upgraded the hardtail with alltheshiny(tm) cranks and chainring. DMR Axe 165mm with a Works chainring. Expect they'll be coloured in "winter brown" on Sunday.

Well, reckon my weekend started yesterday afternoon evening, skived off work a bit early to catch the last of the sun. What a stunner!

Well. It's saying I posted. But can't see the post, or the gorgeous photos I thought I'd uploaded ... 😏

Too cold to take a riding shot but ride was to pick this up after DPD delivered it to a different postcode 🤷‍♂️

Thanks to STW for the tip off on the saddleback sale

In Finland, managed 3 hours today in warm (+1C) and soft conditions, but OK with tyres massively deflated. -17C and great trail conditions in Rovaniemi on Monday. Dropped to -28C Tuesday morning which was painful just to exist in (luckily not trying to ride that day).  Will see if a photo works.....

Claggy and sloppy mud and a horrible cold wind, still, nice to be out.

Not this week, but a test to see if the all new forum can handle images. I gave up on the old forum. Images look massive in the preview?

So there IS a thread!

Damp little ride round the local this morning. Fitness still not great. Grip strength still not great. Still good fun though, and starting to get my MTB selfie photo mojo back too.

I'll try, but hopes ain't high. If it fails just imagine an old Privateer leant against fence atop a foggy/windy ridgeline above Dovestones res, and that's pretty much it.

@gilles - that looks too wide for the Ridgeway, unless that’s a section t’other side of Swindon; or one of the wider tracks across Salisbury Plain? I did the Salisbury Plain Challenge many years ago, and it looks like it could be one of the gravel roads across there. With that mist, it could be anywhere! Kinda spooky, with little visibility out in the ass end of nowhere! Fun, though. 😋
