Reeksy1 on a mtb road trip, Reeksy2 with his club, me on a solo Tewantin ride. Really felt good this morning and the conditions were perfect.
You might just make out the white cockatoos in the top of the tree. IMG_3330.jpegIMG_3326.jpeg

Solo on the eeb yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately didn't really capture the mega purple heather.

Local loop - nature taking back our nearby power station/coal mine combo.

Great photos guys. I rode twice today on my local trails in Cavehill. I was so pleased to get riding in the dry, when the forecast was rain pretty much all day! But my photos are so crap and uninspiring that im hesitant about sharing them.

Only pic I took today. And it wasn't a great one. Of possibly more note is my Elyte (400W battery) with Range Extender (250W) managed 1750m of climbing in 65km and I still had 30% battery left. I do ride it with the motor off quite a lot and have eco turned down to -2 when riding with non Es. Even so that's Apollo 13 battery management 🙂

Trails we re really good today in a spot in the FoD we go to 3 or 4 times a year. Baked rock hard tho and the dust was epic. Probably shouldn't complain!

Summer cyclocross at Haugh Cross in Aberdour, awesome wee event, great family festival vibe and a very fast grassy course, was actually glad to be on semi-slick gravel tyres.

Fitness was miles off, not helped by regular CX World Cup top ten finisher Cammy Madon driving the front of the race and lapping me at least three times 😂

nice cafe stop at National Trust Longshaw , free chilled water dispenser was very welcome

A section of moorland was being closed off due to a wildfire - 4 fire engines there

Ive never seen it so dry & brown

Also got stung on the lip by a bee on a fast descent, not fun!

I went out early, as I wilt quite badly in heat, also being very unfit does help with getting overheated. IMG_6735.jpegIMG_6734.jpeg

Quite the most dismal day here in belfast. But couldn’t resist riding anyway. I find that riding in the wet is totally enjoyable, as long as you know at the outset that it will be a bit minging.

Send some of that rain over! It's bucket and spade conditions here.

My youngest daughter wanted to go out today so I put my Kirkhill plans on hold and dug the trailer out of the shed. We did 30 miles in total consisting of 3 parks, 2 rivers, the beach (twice) and 2 Mr Whippy ice creams each 😋🍦

Friday ebike ride with mates ended up at the cricket club drinking pints on the grass which was a pretty epic end to a great ride.
Saturday my head was a bit woolly as don’t drink so much these days so grabbed the hardtail with the thought of stopping off at a cafe on the beach for a bacon and egg bap and a coffee. Once I got to the seafront I couldn’t be arsed to stop as it was so busy.

Sunday back on the eebs. Cracking weekend all in.

Headed up to Aboyne this morning for a quick spin round some of the tech fun in there followed by meeting the wife and heading down a few of the blues with her. 659cd99a-7fed-445b-9256-2fe0c201d920.jpeg IMG_1032.jpeg
