Maybe ask the people who provide the warranty?

# This warranty applies only to bicycles purchased in fully assembled and adjusted condition from Authorized Cannondale Retailers or other outlets specifically authorized by Cannondale to distribute Cannondale bicycles.
# This warranty is void if the bicycle is subjected to abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, an accident or other abnormal, excessive, or improper use.

Depends how far "modification" stretches?

Maybe ask Cannondale if they can respray it and keep the warranty intact?

Cannondale will weasel out of any potential warranty claim anyway, I wouldn't worry too much!

BigNick had his old Hustler powder coated and when it cracked Cove said no cos he'd had it powder coated, so 'dale will prolly be the same. He's now got that Kwacka coloured Heckler instead.

Most companies say no as i understand it. But i seem to think there might be an arrangement between trek and argos?

Cannondale IIRC are OK with the likes of Argos in brizzle doing it, not sure about any other resprayers. They'll not be pleased with a home job though.
