I recently changed my shimano slx brake pads to superstars, they work great. but i'm not sure if they move slightly when the brake is applied. while stationary rocking back and forth causes the wheel to role. i think this is caused by the the brake pad, but could it also hide a bushings issue with the fork?

Wedge a finger between the fork bridge and stanchion and try rocking it again. You'll feel if it's the fork or not.

I've had that with SS brake pads. Nothing to worry about.
