This confused me. Click on the georestricted event and eventually you get to an restricted stream

Womens XCO on now

It is a bit confusing.. but I think it's georestricted depending on the commentary language.

my guess is that you aren’t in a restricted country.

i just tried to watch from Canada and it is unavailable.

Oli Beckinsale doing the commentary on Eurosport/GCN which is a pleasant surprise and he’s doing a cracking job.. exciting race as well!
Not strictly relevant to the topic re. Red Bull TV but I know a lot of people avoid the Eurosport coverage due to the usually dire commentary.

I’m watching on Eurosport but can’t even see it on my sky red bull app.

When is the men’s DH race, and how can I watch that? I can’t see it on Eurosport

On the app on my Samsung TV there were 2 entries under the live events section - one restricted and one not.

There's a bit (lot) of cheering going on here. Brilliant 😁

British Cycling are going to have a hard time justifying ignoring MTB after this and the Olympics!

How on earth have the STW crew not logged in from home and got this story on the front page yet! And no official thread? It's the WORLD CHAMPS and Evie just absolutely destroyed the entire field!

Incredible!

Can’t believe on a mountain bike forum there’s only this on Evie...

She’s world champion FFS!

I mean forumite spaffers over skinny tyred alien freaks and nothing with Evie’s silver then gold.

Yeah ampthill those IG posts, seems youngsters these days have a much more mature attitude over competing. Seen similar things over the Olympic BMX and skaters, seems so much healthier.

Watched the XC yesterday (go Evie) and women’s DH this morning on my Xbox. I had to sign in though, which is something I’ve never had to do before.

It’s blocked for me on fire stick and mobile.

It’s on BBC iPlayer though hidden away under sport. Commentary is putting me into a coma though.

Just watched the tail end of the women’s. Course is brutal as has probably been said already, I fear there will be some hefty crashes coming up.

Red bull tv app working fine after re navigating a few times, was originally coming up restricted.

I'm sacking off the live feed and I'll just watch the replay tonight. I've lost the will to live dealing with red bull menus. I can only watch it on my phone but I've no charger with me. Curses

I'm in tears just navigating the RB TV menus. Glossy crap, and your drink tastes like battery acid

I’ve managed to get the men’s event by not using the app - logged on to the web page and cast to appletv from there

I just had this with the tv app too. Go to events. Then click on the georestricted link. Then scroll down and the non georestricted version is available below.

I’m watching the red bull feed via the uci website embed! Couldn’t get it to work on red bull site itself or the app 🤷‍♀️

Why have they not shown the majority of the men's field? That was always the great part of the world's, seeing every rider regardless.

The Italian coverage is awful. No drones for one thing. Rider just now was fully committed, obvious he was either going fastest or was going to bin it, so they cut to the 3 fellas sitting around in the hotseats! Next you see, the rider is covered in dust completing his run. Hopeless.

I liked the part were Amaury Pieron left the start hut and the cameras immediately cut to someone polishing his helmet in the finish area.

Saw almost nothing of Brook Mcdonald either.

Beeb commentary is shocking, didn’t even notice the front tyre hanging off Reece’s bike and can’t seem to work out that being in green means you’re doing better than the leader!

Just switched from GCN feed to the RedBull and so much more energy. Not sure who commentating on GCN - prob same feed as BBC, but poor and as said above, didn't notice Reece Wilson's puncture, even after replays....

Watched the xc on BBC, no vibe on the commentary at all, the women's DH on Eurosport, dull commentary too then mens DH on Redbull (thanks to @martinhutch)...omg Rob and Eliotts commentary was so good, much more exciting and Rob Warner singing at the end was the icing on the cake! Loved it.

I connected a VPN to Norway which seemed to un-geo restrict Red Bull TV.

Deffo worth watching the DH it on RBTV - the XC on the iPlayer yesterday was OKish, but wouldn't cut it for DH vs Rob Warner and Eliot Jackson (who was very good on comms today imo)

The red bull app is so unrelentingly unfriendly to use I've come round to thinking it's done on purpose.

Despite the clear geo-restriction labelling if you clicked enough times on random identical looking buttons it took you to a live feed in the UK.

The chances of anyone from the UCI or BBC finding said feed were minimal.

Anyway The GOAT. Just amazing, what a race, going to watch that top ten again. 😎

The app is useless but their website works fine, so I always just watch via a browser. Amazing race!

Started watching on Iplayer but the commentary was terrible so ended up watching RB coverage on the phone (website way too laggy on my old laptop and couldnt figure out how to get round the geo restriction on the TV app) Chuffed for Minnaar.

Replay is available on iPlayer now. Commentary by some freelancer the bbc picked up cheap off LinkedIn, name of Matt Payne. Shameful really, bloke obviously knows nothing about MTB.
But yeah, Minaar’s phenomenal! What a win.

How can you say that? In the five minutes I had a quick look at via Iplayer he used the phrase "dropping in" over twenty times, he established that several riders were from the same country and that at least one of them had a name.

"section of the course" is a great catchphrase though 😆
