Going to build a disc braked road bike for the wife as a project. I've had a look at some of the sites like Flyxii, but it doesn't look like they do any women specific frames.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction or offer any advice, please?
If needs be I'll just build up a small bloke's frame, but would like to exhaust all possibilities first.
Geometry. Forget whether or not it mentions gender, geometry is what counts. Just work out what fits her best and take it from there. You can add some pink stickers later ๐
Women's frames are rarely different other than size/colour it is the saddles and bars widths etc that make the difference
Really? I thought they were shorter and taller, given that women proportionally tend to have shorter torsos and longer legs than blokes.
And what gives then with Trek's WSD etc etc Con?

All women - or do they vary just like men do?
thread title fail i seriously thought the chinese had made an open mould woman
These days the frames tend to be very similar but the contact points arent. So shorter stem, narrower bars etc.
