What're folk running ?
I'm really struggling this year with the combination of quite dry, but murderously slippy roots. My tried and trusted velociraptors are outclassed, what's the current favourite ?
Thanks.

Roots will always be slippy. Tyres will help, but technique more so.
This time of year its Minions front and back for off-piste riding which I do (Bringewood, FOD, eastridge, Bucknell). They cope well on the roots and slippy bits. Shorty gets put on the front if its been a wet week, overkill at woburn though!

Any idea how wide (knob to knob) a minion is. My old Pace RC36s aren't very wide...
