Idly toying with the idea of changing my charge filter frame this summer.

Buying frame only, ideally under £500 and looking for ideas.

It gets used for winter Devon lane/road riding, summer mixed cx style rides and commuting (but I don't need racks/ guards)

The charge has been perfect but is very heavy esp with a steel fork.

Guess the CDF is similar but a similar weight as is the escapade?
Kinesis 5t disc
Kinesis pro6 always liked that green!)

What else is there?

Singular Kite Disc.
Slightly over budget but far nicer to ride than a Pro6.

That looks really nice though! Might have to start saving!

Anything else I've not thought of?

The bowmans look nice but I think too much cash to stretch to and the footscray is probably a bit too off road focused and the pilgrim not enough......

If you can get past the paint job, these look pretty capable.

That light blue frameset would be perfect for me, it's just the "I've found Nemo" comments I'd be concerned about.

Bowman's do indeed look nice. I'd have a Pilgrims 🙂

Actually I'd have a Layhams...

A winter bike with "Palace fit" and mounts for guards, in stainless steel please 🙂

Probably no good for the OP though as looks like it won't have discs.

The robinson looks like a nice frame but the nemo thing could be a deal breaker!

I think the pilgrims probably doesnt have big enough tyre clearance and discs are a must

Think the kite is my favorite so far
