I may be looking for a winter road bike (62cm) complete with guards etc. Does anyone know of any shops etc doing reasonable deals atm? I have done a lot of generic searches but haven't turned up anything particularly interesting.

Ribble come in at a bit over £500 and there aren't any "deals" as such. They are on my radar thought.

Reasonable means different things to different folk. What is your reasonable budget?

I would also have said Ribble as I have just got a second hand 7005 framed setup 🙂

Ribble do seem to always quote quite long lead times if that's likely to be an issue?

£500 is max for this, preferably lower.

Slowjo - what about getting that Felt and bigdugs frame, fork and guards - swap the frame and sell the felt frame?

A 60cm frame wil be a bit short in the top tube. I'll have to measure it all up.

What length top tube are you after?
I've got a custom made Borghini winter frame with carbon/alu and steel forks. I'll have to measure it, i'm 6 ft 4
How tall are you?

I'm a shade under 6ft 4ins.

Would consider a CX bike as an option too.... big tyres and all that!

60cm should be fine, unless you have a 29" inside leg and all your height is in your body?

I'm a shade over 6'3"(191cm) and both my Road bikes & CX bike are 60cm
