[Closed] Winter boots - replacing trusty NW celcius with Sidi Diablo - wise?

So after 4(ish) winters of dry warm feet in the peak district its time to replace my Northwave celcius boots, if I ever had a gripe they were a little slippy occasionally off the bike.

A moment of madness on wiggle and I have a brand new pair of sidi diablos sitting on my kitchen table..lighter yes, waterproofed to the same ankle height yes, more tread yes...but not quite as padded, plastic rather than rubber sole and for all that extra wonga if I'm having doubts should I just get the latest North Waves??
