Anyone? It's the diagonal vents that I'm not sure about, otherwise it ticks all the boxes for her.
IMHO no - it uses no mount and just clips on over the holes so you cannot attach it but you can get a thingy that will work
I cant explain it but e-mail me and i can send you a spare I have
Will google for pics in a mo

Thanks junkyard, that's very kind of you.
My original questions was perhaps badly written - I do have a mount, the exact one in your picture, I'm just wondering if that will fit securely with the ridge and diagonal vents?
Can you not just try it?
Just bumping really I dont know ๐
I haven't bought the hat yet!
is there no shop local you can take the light in?
If no one answers I will nip to Merlin and test it for you- its only 5 mins away and they have them in stock.
Neither of them stock MET ๐
Seriously if no one does answer I will go and see its not that much of an issue
I have given up bumping
If you want me to go today I need to go in the next 30-40 minutes
message here or e-mail in profile if you prefer
If you really don't mind then that would be great, but it's a first world problem so don't put yourself out!
Going now
When I get back, in 30 mins, if someone has answered this then I am sending you hate mail ๐
Fair enough ๐
Thanks
The vents are no problem.
The ridge is. Have you got any Sugru or similar? You could add two fins to the base of the mount so that it sits square on either side of the ridge. Silicone might work, or glue gun, or all sorts of things really.
I also shortened my strap loads so that it just wraps through 2 vents and under - about 3.5 inches of strap. Different helmet though.
I have two mounts both about 2 inch by 2 inch
one is flat one has a gentle curve
What is your like then ?
I've got an old karrimat that had bits cut off it for similar reasons, so could try that.
what he said!
The gap from the ridge is about 1/ 2 inch either side so it is pretty substantial. you will need to glue something on to the mount in order for it to work/fit/not wobble but it will need to be substantial
On the plus side I got a t-shirt for a fiver
Will upload some photos in a minute
*looks forward to pictures of junkyard modelling his new t-shirt
Hope helmet mount would work with it, its got a reet thick spongy pad on the bottom that takes a bit of the ridge and stops it sliding around.
Could just add a bit of foam to the bottom of the MS mount?
Sorry, missed your earlier question - a gentle curve

Cant dsplay them on here for some reasons and I have spent longer trying to upload these than it took me to go and do it and bored now
No t-shirt shot i would just look a mixture of bored/confused/frustrated with IT
Thanks very much. It clearly would need a bodge of some sort. I wonder if buying her a different helmet might make more sense.
it would be a substantial bodge IMHO and would probably need some hard foam or wood to stop wobbling. I am sure it could be done but, personally, I would also look for another helmet.
Do you know that this helmets fits her properly?
Ok, that's made my mind up. Really appreciate your help though.
No Stevie, was going to be a Christmas present. Measured her head though ๐
