My current Fizik mtb shoes are getting passed it.
Im after some new shoes to marry up with my XT trail platform pedals and eMTB
I like BOA. I also want some shoes that can handle a bit of mountain walking too ie Lakes steep paths that are rocky and a mixture of pushing and riding. Would also be good if they can handle some serious mud ie no smooth soled shoes
whats your ideas?

I was recommended Northwave Spider plus by a mate who does that sort of thing. I might get some when the sales kick in! The NW shoes i already have are moderately wide.
Thanks they do look like the sort of thing I’m after bloody heavy lumps though at 500g each shoe if what I have read is correct !
Sidi do a similar looking shoe, but I imagine being Sidi they are super narrow
