I'm trying to get my front end lower. I like the 690mm width of my risers but can't find any flat/ minimal rise bars that wide with a 25.4mm clamp.
I'd rather not have to swap stems.
Anyone know of any?
If you can find some, Element Technic's 680mm bars have a very low rise and a 25.4 clamp.
That could work. I'll have a search, thanks.
You can get Sunline V3's with a (not ideal for you) 25mm rise in 710mm width and 25.4mm.
Only £25 from CRC, so potentially worth a punt? Depends how much of a rise your current bars have, I guess.
Thanks, I was looking for a bit lower. I think those sunlines would drop me about 5mm. Currently running 'mid' rise EA30s which I think are around a 3cm rise.
I've tried running it with some old Titec Hellbent very low rise (may as well be flat) at the weekend. The height was good but at about 650mm it just felt a bit narrow. May be I should stick at it and get used to the old bars.
...or buy a new stem!
Salsa Pro Moto bars...
Salsa Moto Ace I think are 680 and come in 25.4mm Or a Surly torsion bar?
turn the stem upside down?
I have some Funn 710ish wide 25rise I want to sell. Email in profile.
Zero rise stem
1" copper pipe?
V8_shin_print - Memberturn the stem upside down?
Thinking the same.
the old flat trackers are wide with 25.4 clamp. find some second hand?
