Thinking of picking up one of these as I'm after a nice fun steel hardtail for general trail and moderate XC use.

Seen some really good reviews about these bikes but wondering what people's experiences with them have been long-term.

I'm 6ft exactly, 33" inseam and relatively light for my height (70kg) so I was thinking to go for a medium (17" seat tube, 23" effective top tube) but it'd be interesting to hear what other people are riding.

I've got an older alu 19 in size M which has similar dimensions. I'm just under 6ft, bit shorter of leg at 31" - it fits me perfectly.

They are fantastic bikes

I had one in 2010. I liked it at the start once the stupid BB30 bottom bracket issue was fixed. Then I rode something else and realised how stupidly high the bottom bracket was (with stock 120mm Reba fork). Then it cracked at the rear dropout and while waiting for the warranty I bought something else so when the new frame arrived I sold it.

IMHO there are better bikes available.

I've got three 19's alloy, alloy with carbon seat stays & Ti, I thought the steel was too heavy.
