TUBELESS, is bloomin ace!!!
I've had tubeless Mavic rims and even Michelin tubeless tyres over the years but I've never got round to changing.
This year I thought right its happening, I take the dogs along our local canal and after 11 punctures in one ride, enough was enough.
I paid up for some new continental rubber, bought some secondhand Shimano 29er wheels and swapped them over.
Tonight I've just pulled over 30 thorns out of the tyres, and they still hadn't gone down more than a few puffs of the track pump.
Fantastic kit.
Great int it. The confidence it gives you to go down tracks covered with brambles where previously you had avoided is ace.
only 11 punctures?
I just leave the thorns in, it saves on seal any granules......."until you have to stick a tube in, then you spend an hour pulling thorns out first 😆
