Square taper, non-drive side. I tighten and within 2 days of commuting its loose again – my commute is a 1.5 mile round trip so not much pedalling!
Any ideas?

damaged/worn taper on the crank arm most likely, the axle being damaged next.

Is a brand new arm as the previous one was knackered where the previous owner had carried on riding it when loose.

Then the other part is fubarred too, the square taper shaft of the bottom bracket? Either the screw thread or the square taper itself?
