Anyone?
2 of us went today, got here it was heaving it down! Luckily it ceased after about 20 mins.
Is it me or is the trail becoming a little too 'sanitised'? The first climb has been completely re-surfaced, ironing out all the lumps and bumps, great to ride up but so is the hill at the end of my road!
Still it was enjoyable and great fun!
What you mean its no longer the bastion of gnarly tech trails and won't be populated by hordes of mincing stormtroopers on 6" travel bikes?Shame.
er no I didnt mean that . . . I never classed it as 'gnarly' just more raw than a cinder track, like I said if i wanted to ride smooth surfaces I would stay on the roads . . .
I guess that as the first section is shaired with the green and blue trails it can't be to rough.
I think every man & his dog was there yesterday !
Guess so Graham, there looks to be some interesting developments going on there at the minute, cant wait to see the finished results.
what bike do you have emac? might of seen you there.
I was on a red NRS sometime after 2pm
On my way home by then! Rode it 10am - 12.30 ish.
I always wonder on the way round these trails how many forum peeps I pass, pass me or I say hello to!
Black Stumpjumper, I finished just after the rain. Quite enjoyed blitzing past the guys on hire bikes as they walked up the last few hills must be good riders feel all the time ๐
I was there for a couple of hours around lunch time. black sworks ht. I say hello to everyone... I took a fall off the 2nd boardwalk section. I was going too slow.ffs.
I was on my Pitch pro and my mate was on his Black Heckler with white fox forks.
Saw a Stumpjumper or 2 yesterday. We say hi to everyone chat about our and their bikes, half the fun of it!
