I've used Paisley Freight several times and had no issues but I know some have, so YMMV..

I used Paisley Freight a couple of months back, cost £34.

No complaints.

I used paisley freight, however they sub contracted the pick up to a local company who refused to pick up as it was oversized for their company. Told the person my contract isn't with you its the with paisley freight. Called his boss and said  another person would come later that day to collect in same size van   🤷‍♂️ meant I had stay in most of day

I used parcel force recently. They've got a formula for parcel sizes and a bike should be ok if it isn't huge. Price is better than others IME and they are ok as a courier

Used Paisley Freight for the last couple with no issues. Perhaps its a location thing but it's been "big name" couriers for me.

Only advice I can offer is choose the option to pick up from your house rather than use a pickup point. Despite being advertised as a pickup point most places I've attempted to use are usually pretty pissed off if you turn up with anything bigger than a shoebox. I used parcel force.

Only issue I had with Paisley, was that a local courier came to pick it up first thing. He didn't seem to realise it was a bike and said he didn't have room in his van. So he had to pick it up later in the day once he'd made space.

Not a massive issue as I WFH, but something to be aware of.
