Went out weekend before last to the peaks and I was hoping for sun and average temp. But it wasn't to be.

Here's the video of how I got on. Any feedback welcome

It's wednesday, far too early to be taking forecasters word for it.

I went to centre parcs for the week. So missed the sun and now it looks like rain again. Hence my strop

Were you not sufficiently middle class aspirational to make the forest your playground?

Eh? aspirational? Whinfell is full of Glaswegians eating pizza, burger, curry and (mainly) chips.

Lol, luckily I was at the sherwood pines one. Just seemed to be full of parents with toddlers and babies. But that's exactly who we had with us, he he

On the plus side Joshua ( my lad, now 2 and half) started lifting both feet off the ground on his balance bike while we were there. Very cool to see

that's not spring that's bloody summer ๐Ÿ˜ฏ 22 deg out at the moment! 25 miles sunny warm singlespeeding sweating like a good on' some local denizens finding all a bit warm to gad about.

Sliding around in mud on rushop edge last night in the fog. Felt decidedly wintery.

Last weekend was lovely though, spring innit.

It's not spring today.... it's more like summer !

Just waiting for the post-man and then may head out on the KTM for a lunch hour ride.

Freezing cold in the midlands today. Mrs has got the big coat out again.

Looking like 18c at the weekend though, I'll have me a bit of that.
