Is it Contador or would Rasmussen give him a run for his money? (His ban is upin a couple of days.)
He's a Columbian rider from the 60s &70s - he's gotta be clean - right? 😉

Lemond seems to doubt everyone's ability but his own - they were showing snippets from classic tours on ITV 4 in the pre-tour buildup and he came across as a real whiner. Other than the kudos of being the first US TDF winner, I'm not sure why the american cycling community seems to be so enamoured of him.
Pantani was great - tragic end.
I always liked Virenque's style too.
Contador is peerless at the moment though - so fluid, and the acceleration… wow.
pantani +1
the burden is then Alberto Contador to prove he is physically capable of performing this feat without the use of performance-enhancing products.
From that Le Monde article written by Greg, so no assumption of innocence anymore then. Greg doesn't believe you, so that's enough. Trail by journalism...
Every bit of writing ive seen of Lemonds, he comes across as a bit of a tit.
LeMond is an idiot - what burden does Contador face to prove anything? He's already way more thoroughly tested than riders of LeMond's era.
