Back in the day Glyncorrwg would've been mobbed on a sunny Saturday in May. Not today though, I didn't see anyone else on the trail which suits me, I like riding alone. Despite living less than an hour away I haven't ridden there in years but used to be there a lot, maybe weekly. I remember that the climb was a tough but I'd forgotten how tough. I used to be able to clean pretty much the whole thing apart from one very steep section. Not anymore though, despite being on an ebike. The trail surfaces on the lower section of yr Trwyn are really chopped up and far rockier than I recall and I was dabbing all over the place. I suppose being on an ebike has possibly made things worse so I shouldn't be critical really...

It's good to see some new (to me) woodwork installed on the Black Run and Goodwood but Energy is very definitely closed.

TLDR

Blimey, the White's club is harder than I remember!

Fond memories there, I haven't been back for a very very long time. I remember the climb being a bugger but satisfying. I'd assumed it had fallen out of favour with all the big bike parks around, or that e-bikes might have somehow ruined it. I might have to take a trip over that way sometime if it's still riding well. Even better if it's quiet.

What's the deal with the visitor centre now?

The Glyncorrwg visitor centre had a good cafe with decent food and other facilities back in the day.  Many fond memories of weekend trips there but not been for a decade now.  It's a fair slog through South Wales to get there and there's always the temptation to go uplifted at BPW, which is just day trip doable for us.  Afan Valley is 40 minutes each way too far.

Shop is open and seems to be thriving. Café was open and seemed busy but I didn't visit.

I remember riding down the stairs from the veranda.
