I've got an air compressor (50 litre} so in thinking of gettinga tyre inflator adapter for it.
Any recommendations for tubeless inflation?
Alternatively am I likely to better off with a canister type blaster and save waking the neighbours with the racket my compressor makes?!
I chopped the end of mine off and replaced it with a presta/shraedar head.
i got a cheap set from lidl, then butchered a hose and stuck an SKS hose head on, which was the tip on here 3-4 years ago.
looking on amazon you can pay £3-10 BBB / sks / joe blow etc
The free tyre inflator that came with your compressor, which undoubtedly looks the same as this:
With the hose cut off and replaced with one of these:

So it will still work on your car but perfectly for bikes too.
Brands may vary, you get the idea.
What they said.
Although bear in mind that Draper one has a threaded connection. Your compressor likely has quick release fittings.
I've had a couple of similar ones though. They're a bit fragile. The pressure guage gets knocked and loosens. The crimps on the hoses don't last and start to leak. Fine if all you're doing is occasional tubeless setups. But a decent one would be nice. Either that or I'm going to find a way to cannibalise the blow gun, I'm sure the nozle could come off and be replaced by a barbed fitting and hose (I'd use a seperate guage to actually set the pressure anyway).
Anyone had a recent Prestaflator?
Mine is borked and doesn't appear to be serviceable. Trigger jammed open.
With regard to the noise, I charge up my compressor when it runs low, but then don’t need to turn it on to inflate tyres until it’s empty again. That way early morning tyre checks are fairly silent.
Note - without going out to check I have no idea how big my compressor actually is.
Same as others, I took a standard inflator gun, chopped the end off and stuck a cheap pump head on it. Couldn't work better tbh

Just remember to drain it once in a while so condensation doesn't build up and rust through it from the inside.

With either a track pump head or one of those wee screw on Woods valve adapters...

A barbed Schraeder fitting will go straight on there.

I have a PCL head on my fire extinguisher tubeless setup, brilliant connection and honestly easier to use than my Topeak head.

I have that Draper one. I bought some of the below to go with it and changed the other end to a quick release fitting so I can swap between that and the air gun. Works a treat.

Such is normal for any air tool. There are a number of different quick release standards so they generally come threaded....if your lucky you'll get 1 of the qr barbs in the box. Invariably it'll be the wrong one for your set up. The air blow off tool is the perfect tool to fit inside a presta with core removed to seat stubborn tires.

The other end, where the hose goes. The topeak smart heads fit nicely with a few wraps of tape to pad it out.

Yea, annoyingly the draper threads arent even the same pitch as my adapters 😂
Is there a guide to the fittings? I really want to put a hard-line along my garage, the compressor sits in an alcove in the middle and it would be nice to have a connection at either door rather than have to drag the compressor right the way around the house if I need air on the driveway and the car's inside blocking it.

That's my usual solution, then finger on the hole and get the core back in before topping it up with the track pump.

I know, Schrader covers a few bases 😉

Also a Schrader:

Well that isn't confusing in the slightest 🤣
