Looking for either a ti or carbon seatpost to take the sting out of my Chameleon but havent got ££££ to spend. Long shot but any suggestions?
Dont really want to get sus. post either cos trying to keep weight down.

honestly? I don't think you'd notice much difference between a carbon and alloy seatpost. If you've got a reasonable amount of post out of the frame, I'd go thomson for peace of mind, and sufficient damping for the back of my chameleon.
thomons have very little "give" in them at all. They're safe and light though.
A Thomson and a carbon post feel completely different, the latter feeling much "softer" in use.
