Hello

i have a dolan carbon seta frame, and i about to build it up as a commuter bike....

i believe it is a standard 1 1/8 frame ...

https://www.dolan-bikes.com/dolan-track-bikes/track-framesets/track-frameset-carbon/dolan-seta-carbon-track-frameset.html

I wonder if i could fit this fork on, but think it will not fit?

looked also at qr fork:

-that is a standard 1 1/8 fork right?

while i am at it, i will use it for commuting, 5-15 km, pretty flat, a bit windy, which SS gearing should i choose
?

Cheers!

Both of those forks are tapered, so won't fit a straight 1 1/8 frame.

I use 42/16 on my commuting fixie. Possible to grunt up hill when necessary, but can pedal at 20mph plus with reasonable ease.

Edit - Why not get a set of the Alpina forks that are offered with the frame? You'll have to bodge mudguards onto the frame as there's no eyelets, might as well do the same with the fork.
