Due to Tredz not having stock (which it seems is a regular occurrence) I need to order a multi tool from elsewhere.

I was going to get a Topeak Hexus II or a Crank Brothers 17, both about £17.

Any others worth looking at or are these fine?

Wouldn't be without my Hexus II.

Dont have a Hexus II anymore as I lost it, but it was the best multitool I've ever owned, now have an alien 11 - does sweet FA more than the hexus, but weighs twice as much 😕

Recently got this. No better than most multi-tools really, and the wrap case is a bit funny, but it does look lovely.

Hexus II what's usually in my pocket. I've got an Alien II too but it only comes out to play on longer trips as though its a bit more capable but heavier.

Hexus 2 unless you need a tool which it doesn't have.

Basically Topeak do great designs, adequately made. Lezyne do ropey designs, beautifully made. Shame they can't get together.

Had my CB 17 for about 10 years, solid & reliable, not something you hear said about Crank Bro much... can't say it's the best but it definitely isn't the worst tool.

I'd third Northwinds comment. For mtb bimbling I've got an Alien that must be at least 10 years old and I've never felt the need for anything else (until recently as it is missing torx bits.) The Lezyne is for the jersey pocket on the road bike.
