I know they're chinese and I know the lumens aren't accurate but i need something to replace my light and go fireball that's finally given up the ghost
not tried the x3, but the SSx2 is more than enough
buy the X3 and let us know how you get on.
I fancy one as a bar light
actually what Rich said!
Got for the top one, just because it look more cool....
also the bottom one will be like the XML T6 which has a very long beam, albeit narrow.
i'll go with the top one then
Shame i can't find a UK seller

Not sure I follow the logic - they all use Cree XM-L T6 LEDs. I'd expect the top one to give a tighter beam, as the reflectors around each LED are larger, but it's hard to say.
Buy the bottom one because I want to see how long it takes to go on fire.
(tbh I suspect it'll be all sorts of bollocksed, the lifespan of the little battery with all 5 on full would be very short... I had a sort of similiar 3xXML light which got round this by, weirdly, never running all 3 LEDs at full chat- you could have 2 on full power, or 3 on reduced. Completely pointless. )
The X3 is more War of the Worlds. Get the Wall-E. Friendlier and more than enough light.
@pdw i'm basing this on the SSx2 having a super wide beam spread, filling the whole trail, and the XML T6 being very pointy.
