With my new Ti frame delivery any time soon (but I'm not holding my breath) I need to get my brakes.
I've always used braided hose on my other bikes but, this being my first Ti frame, I think from an aesthetic point of view that black hoses would be better.
And am I really going to notice a huge difference between braided and standard?
Are black hoses on a Ti frame de rigueur and braided a faux pas?
goodridge do black & braided if you must. much less poseur.
Silver braided looks just fine.
i have new brakes on my hummer. i couldnt tell you what colour the hoses are ๐
Thanks peteimpreza. Just the thing.
Goodridge silver braided ones on my Obed.
I did have black on at 1st, but the braided ones look really great.
Glad I changed.
I'd think it also can depend on the Ti finish you have - the One Ones are quite 'grey' and matt, so I think braided makes a nice constrast. On a Singular, which is more polished, then black looks good, as it contrasts with the frame. Basically both work - enjoy ๐
